Go.With all authority in heaven and on earth, Jesus charged His disciples to go and make more disciples through sharing the Gospel. We must be equipped and zealous in our desire to do God’s work as Kingdom couriers of the most important message in history.

Show.Christ’s work is on display in the local church. It is in this body that Jesus’ power is on display for the world. Here we show our team colors for Jesus’ Kingdom through baptism and the Lord’s Table. Furthermore it is in the church that we live out our duty and delight towards one another.

Grow.Every Christian’s goal is to present every other Christian they are connected to as mature in Christ. We prepare the Bride for her Groom by growing in maturity: faith, hope, and love. We equip one another for the works of the ministry and then stir one another up to be faithful to our task from our King.
Ordinary.
We expect God to show up in the ordinary means He has provided for us. These include Holy Scripture, prayer, the church, its worship, and ordinances. We do not seek to manufacture any novel strategy to accelerate what God is doing.
Likewise, we believe the Kingdom of God advances (and will destroy) the gates of hell by the ordinary means of sharing the Gospel. While there are always “good ideas”, we opt for the ordinary ways God has already told us He will work.
Practically, this means that we believe God has instructed His church to function in ordinary and particular ways. This affects the songs we choose, the way we order ourselves, and how the gathering is experienced and participated in. In short, we believe the substance of how God’s people must gather has been ordained by His authority and we do not have the liberty to determine our own way of doing church. While the form may change based on context the substance should never change.
Supernatural.
The work of building up the church is one that Christ Himself lays claim to. He declares that He will build His church (Matt. 16:18). While He has given us jobs to do, He is ultimately responsible for the salvation of the lost and damned, the spiritual nourishment of the local church, and its impact in its community.
We live out our ordinary Christian duties with absolute expectation that God is at work. While we’re working in the mundane, God is working in the supernatural. We are dependent on Him every single step.
Discipleship.
Making disciples through evangelism and then investing in them to grow in the knowledge and zeal of the Lord is every Christian’s job. While the pastors oversee and participate in this, it is not solely their duty but yours too! This means every Christian should be pouring into someone else and being poured into themselves. This shouldn’t look complicated, either. We believe discipleship is simply “doing spiritual good to another Christian” (Discipline, Dever). We want to equip our body with the tools to:
- Rightly understand the Gospel.
- Rightly understand their identity in Christ.
- Rightly handle the Holy Scriptures.
- Rightly engage in evangelism.
- Rightly and regularly engage in prayer.
- Rightly care for and correct brothers and sisters.
